Arthritis Natural Remedies

Dealing with arthritis involves using diet changes and natural remedies.  Arthritis can some times be a difficult condition to deal with, especially if it has progressed to a point of excessive cartilage degradation.  Arthritis can occur at any bone joint in the body and typically develops in the knee joints.

The basic idea in curing arthritis is to reduce joint inflammation, promote cartilage regeneration, supply joint nutrients, and reduce stress and anxiety related to anger and stubbornness to re-establish joint health.

The components that make up a joint are the mating bones covered by cartilage and the synovial membrane that enclosed the mating bones and cartilage.  The cartilage has no nerves or blood vessels and is feed by the synovial fluid and the attached bone.

Conventional treatment involves the use of NSAID’s which do not stop or cure arthritis but do reduce arthritic pain and inflammation.   Unfortunately, use of NSAID’s allows continual degradation of the cartilage.  Side effect of NSAID’s has limited its long term use.

Inflammation is the main symptom and activator of joint degradation.  It is also central to the majority of other disease that we all are subjected to as we age – arthrosclerosis, heart valve dysfunction, cancer, Alzheimer’s and congestive heart failure to name a few.
