Are You Familiar With the Dangers of Soy?
Rudy SilvaFor many years I have read various articles on the dangers of soy. But even though these articles still persist and give insight on how soy is bad for your health, soy food is still very popular throughout the world. So is soy milk really bad for you?
There are many health problems that are associated with drinking too much soy milk. Some women start drink excess soy because the have heard that it can help them with menopause problems. So they start drinking it every day. Many people are substituting soy milk for milk and are using it in the cereal and smoothies.
One of the dangers of soy is on how it affects your thyroid. Symptoms that show up when soy affects your thyroid are hair loss, fatigue, weight gain, and loss of libido. This thyroid condition can be corrected by you doctor, provided you have not been using soy during childhood. Children that consume soy most of their life have compromised the overall development. The dangers of using soy in child will usually not show up until puberty.
The hormonal concentration in soymilk in a typical daily consumption of soy is equivalent of 3-4 birth control pills per day. Is this what you want to feed your babies or children? If you have been using soy milk for your children, stop its use and concentrate on applying natural nutrition to reverse any changes that may have occurred in your child.
The dangers of using soy in child will usually not show up until puberty. For a girl child she will most likely be over estrogenized and would go through puberty early. Children have an astonishing ability to cure their body if they are given the proper nutrition.
Some times the dangers of soy may not be the soy. If you start to eat a lot of soy products and start to have various health problems, these problems may have already existed, so the problem is not eating soy. But eating excess of soy products could be aggravating your existing problems. And, when this is the case, it is still a good idea to stop eating the soy products.
It not wise to feed your children soy milk because of the way chemicals in soy mimic estrogen causing your cells to allow these chemicals to enter. Over time the excess hormonal imbalance in children will affect their overall development and growth.
