Herbs and Their Formulations Are the Foundation of Health

Herbs, herbal formulations, and plants have been in use for hundreds of years before Christ. Most likely since the time humans first began to walk the earth. Using plants was the only way these people had to heal and treat themselves.
In the 1800-century, physicians would bleed their sick patients since they believed if a person was sick then, their blood contained the disease. There was some truth to this and some people would get well and others would bleed to death.
Every period in time has had a health idea or set of principles that didn’t work and that make people sicker. Herbs, all through time, have had an effectiveness and usefulness in many diseases. If they didn’t, they would have been abandoned in the past and you would have never heard of them. Herbs work now as they have in the past and will continue to work in the future.
The Use of Drugs
At the turn of this century, more and more people moved to the cities, getting away from traditional herbal use and mother’s herbal cures. In the cities, new doctors begun practicing the application of new products called drugs. Drugs, isolated active chemicals pulled out of herbal plant, were applied to sick people in concentrated form. In this form, drugs are a poison and kill and destroy more than the disease in the body. Taken for a long period, they will create serious side effect and will eventually cause death.
It seems so strange that in the past physicians would bleed people to eliminate the poisons in their blood. This was not a good practice. Today physicians put poison in the blood to make people well. Again, this is not always a good practice.
Herbs Are Food
Herbs are considered food since they come from plants, trees, berries, fruits and shrubs. It is herbs, fruits, vegetables, and their juices that form the base all natural remedies and medicines. Combine this with good thoughts and exercise and you have a formula for curing illness and doing no harm to a person.
Eating the right proportions of these foods is what gives you natural health. It is a Natural Nutritionist's job to give you the correct proportions of these foods, these herbs to keep you healthy. When you are sick, look for herbs and their combinations as a starting point for getting yourself well. Some herbs take longer to bring back to health, but for others the results are fast.
