Lose Weight with Rhododendron Caucasicum and Rhodiola Rosea

Many Americans are struggling to lose weight or to maintain their weight and are trying all types of weight loss programs and supplements. One such supplement that contains the natural ingredient Rhododendron Caucasicum and Rhodiola rosea is now available.

With access to any type of food that we want and very little activity or exercise, pounds start to add up and you can become fatter. Your body is designed to collect and store fat to protect your organs from nutritional depletion. So the bigger your organs become, the more your body tries to store fat. So as you gain weight, you body is trying to protect your organs by increasing your appetite.

Lack of exercise decreases your body’s ability to loss weight. This result in you gaining more weight and you begin to lose the motivation to exercise, since you become easily fatigued and depressed. Then, when you start a diet program, your body will try to protect itself by slowing down its metabolism causing you to become fatigue and making it difficult for you to lose weight.

Fat Digestive Enzymes

Fats are digested by pancreatic triglyceride lipase, which are enzymes excreted by the pancreas. These enzymes cling to the intestinal wall in the duodenum and digest fat as it scraps against the walls. Lipase breaks down fat into small molecules – free fatty acids and monoacylglycerols - that can pass through the intestinal wall. When these pancreatic lipase enzymes are not present, fats move into the colon where they are excreted in stools.

Scientists and researchers have been investigating how to block the adsorption of fat in the intestines. They have come out with a few products that are typically not recommended – Orlistat. Orlistat, commonly know as Xenical, is a drug that partially inhibits the effect of lipase and thereby is considered a fat blocker. However, it has two known side effects – intestinal gas and poor bowel movement control. Your body needs a certain amount of fat, good fat, to keep it healthy, so complete blocking of lipase would be detrimental to your health.

Another fat blocking drug is Meridia. It too has side effects - high blood pressure - and is not recommended.

Rhododendron Caucasium

Clinical research has shown that a natural product called Rhododendron Caucasicum extract that comes from young spring leaves is an effective partial fat blocker or lipase inhibitor. In Moscow State Hospital Center of Modern Medicine, 132 volunteers were given 150 mg of Rhododendron Caucasicum extract three times a day prior to eating. Feces examination showed that volunteers given Rhododendron had 15-20% more fat excretion than those who had a placebo.

The amount of weight loss using Rhododendron Caucasicum was 5 -10 lbs during the three month trail. Slow weight loss is important so that it is not regained and so that health can be maintained. Fast weight loss can create high blood pressure and other health problems in the following years.

And, one other thing about Rhododendron Caucasicum, Japanese researchers found that a major ingredient in Rhododendron, taxifolins, stimulates fat release from adipose tissue.

Rhodiola rosea

Clinical trail with Rhodiola rosea show similar properties of Rhododendron Caucasicum. Tests show that together they provide a powerful combination to give you a safe weight loss program. This combination has been found to:

Boost metabolism

Promote weight loss

Promote natural body fat burning

Increase energy levels

In Russia, Rhodiola rosea and Rhododendron Caucasicum have been used to treat depression and anxiety. Rhodiola rosea has been found to increase your serotonin levels giving you a feeling of well being.

By using Rhododendron Caucasicum and Rhodiola rosea with a reduced fat diet, increase fiber, and exercise, your weight loss program should be safe and consistent.
